Hello, I am Nam Lê
I live and work in Germany, in the hotel industry. Having been here a long time, I know exactly how hard it is to learn German and do vocational training at the same time. Frog-Job exists to take some of that weight off you.
Why Frog-Job exists
How it began
I am from Nghệ An, so the hardest part for me has always been pronunciation and speaking. Even now I still have a few pronunciation habits I have not fixed. That is why I understand learners’ difficulties very well — including the ones that come from the teaching itself. My first teacher was a Vietnamese woman married to a German man; she had never been to Germany and had learnt the language from him. She made quite a few mistakes, and I learnt those mistakes exactly as they were.
Once in Germany, I enrolled to learn German again from scratch to correct them. A few are still hard to shake, and I am still working on them every day.
Having understood all of those difficulties, I decided to team up with native-speaker teachers to run German courses and exam preparation. I was lucky to find someone with clear pronunciation and a great deal of commitment.
I believe that if you put in the work and learn the right way, you can certainly reach the level I am at today.
I also want your German study to be lighter work. There used to be far too many unreliable coursebooks and far too little German–Vietnamese bilingual material, so I put everything I know into books, so that you can grasp it faster and understand it more easily as you study.

Starting to research and teach German
Reading the coursebooks on the market closely, then starting to teach.

Mein Deutsch A1–B2 released
A hard year: I wrote my own book series, with a native-speaker teacher checking every section. This first book is the most detailed so far — with IPA transcription, example sentences and video lessons included.

Today
Classes, four books and a self-study platform
Vocabulary A1–B2, grammar A1 and A2, plus the specialist dictionary for hotel, restaurant and kitchen. Learners can study with a teacher, use the books to revise alone, or combine both — start with a consultation.

How it is taught
Understand first, then memorise
Vietnamese learners of German tend to get stuck in the same few places: noun gender, the cases, word order. Memorised rules are quickly forgotten — understanding why it works that way sticks far longer.
Explained in Vietnamese
Grasp the principle first. Why nouns have gender, why the verb sits where it does.
Try it out in a sentence straight away
Not stopping at “I have read it”. Build sentences, tell stories, use it in real situations.
Find the repeated mistakes
Everyone repeats the same few mistakes. You can only fix them once you can name them.
Take it out into real life
In vocational classes, at work, at the doctor’s. Learn it to use it, not just to pass.
