How to verify
Verify a certificate in 3 steps
All you need is the code on the certificate. No account needed, and it is free.
1. Find the code on the certificate
The code is printed at the bottom of the Frog-Job certificate and looks like this: FJ-C-2026-XXXXXXXX.
2. Enter the code or scan the QR code
Type the code into the box at the top of the page and click “Check”. Capital or small letters both work. If you scan the QR code on the certificate, the result opens straight away.
3. See the result
The result appears right below the code box. For a valid certificate, you also see the learner’s name, the course and the completion date.

The code matches a certificate record issued by Frog-Job. Below it you see four details:
- Learner: the name of the person the certificate was issued to
- Content: the course that was completed
- Completion date
- Certificate code
Compare these details with the certificate in front of you.
Certificate not found
No certificate has this code. Usually just one character is wrong, so check:
- The number 0 and the letter O
- The number 1 and the letter I
- All 4 parts, with a hyphen between them

Can employers or schools verify a certificate themselves?
Yes. Anyone with the code can verify the certificate on this page, free of charge and without a Frog-Job account. If you need further confirmation, send Frog-Job the code via the contact page.
Why is my code not found?
Usually one character was typed wrongly: the number 0 and the letter O, or the number 1 and the letter I, are easy to mix up, and there must be a hyphen between the parts. Capital or small letters do not matter. If you have checked carefully and still find nothing, send Frog-Job the code via the contact page.
Is a Frog-Job certificate an official exam certificate?
No. It is a course completion certificate issued by Frog-Job, confirming that the learner has completed the course named on it. It is not an official exam certificate like Goethe, telc or ÖSD. Frog-Job is not an exam centre. A certificate for official applications requires an exam at the Goethe-Institut, telc, ÖSD or a licensed exam centre. How do I verify with the QR code?
Open your phone camera, point it at the QR code on the certificate and tap the link that appears. This page opens with the code already filled in and shows the result straight away.
Where do learners get their certificate?
When you complete a course that comes with a certificate, the certificate appears on your account page on Frog-Job. The certificate code is printed at the bottom of the certificate.
