What do you need German for?

Preparing for vocational training in Germany

Usually B1–B2, depending on the field

You have a firm deadline and an exam you must pass. The task is to go from zero to the required level without stalling halfway — usually between A2 and B1.

About Frog-Job

Taught from the perspective of someone who has lived and worked in Germany

German coursebooks are written for speakers of English, Polish and Turkish. Vietnamese learners get stuck elsewhere: noun gender, word order, the cases. Frog-Job materials target exactly those points.

Explained in Vietnamese

Understand it first, then memorise it — no parroting of rules.

Learn it to use it, not just to pass

Content tied to situations in vocational training, at work and in daily life.

Books, videos and classes in one system

Learn in class, revise with the book, practise again on video — all joined up.

Switch format when your schedule changes

Move between group classes, one-to-one and self-study without starting over.

“I started writing books because I saw Vietnamese learners working very hard but still getting stuck in the same places, because the coursebooks were not written for them. Frog-Job grew out of that: explain it in Vietnamese first, then say it in German.”

Frequently asked questions

What learners ask most often

You do not need to work it out yourself. Book a consultation and describe what you have studied; Frog-Job will talk it through, establish your level and suggest a suitable course. This is free and does not oblige you to enrol.

Small group classes from 4,500,000 ₫ per course; one-to-one with a native-speaker teacher from 6,500,000 ₫ per month. The four books are priced separately, from 400,000 ₫ each — see the shop. Fees are agreed before you start and do not change during the course.

There is no single figure that fits everyone, so Frog-Job does not promise a standard timeframe. The biggest factor is how much you study at home, not the number of lessons in class — two people in the same class can differ by several months for that reason alone. When you book a consultation, say how many lessons a week you can manage and how much you can study alone, and Frog-Job will estimate a specific timeframe for your case.

Most programmes require B1 or B2, varying by field, by federal state and by year. Nursing usually asks for more than hotel and restaurant work. Check the exact requirements of the place you are applying to, then tell Frog-Job your deadline so the schedule can be worked backwards.

Yes. One-to-one let you pick times around your shifts, including evenings and weekends. If your shifts change constantly, self-study on the platform is more flexible, but it asks a great deal more self-discipline.

With a language, what counts is how often you actually speak and get corrected. A one-to-one lesson online usually gives more speaking time than a class full of people in one room. The weakness of online is that a lesson is easier to skip, so a fixed timetable still matters.

The books and coursebooks are published online only, not as files sent by email. Once you have ordered in the shop, the book is unlocked straight away in the student area and you can read it again at any time on a phone, tablet or computer.

Yes. All classes are online, so studying from Vietnam or from Germany is the same. When arranging times, Frog-Job takes the time difference between the two countries into account to find a slot that suits both sides.
