The times above are averages, not a promise Two people in the same class can differ by several months. The biggest factor is how much you study between lessons, not how many lessons you attend. Anyone who revises for 20–30 minutes a day usually moves noticeably faster.

Frequently asked questions
Before you book
The general course covers all four skills level by level, aimed at using German for the long term and being able to sit a certificate exam. The conversation course focuses on speaking and listening in real situations, with less grammar and writing. If you need a certificate, choose the general course; if you only need to talk to your neighbours and colleagues, the conversation course is quicker.
Not necessarily. But many people rate their level higher than it really is, because understanding when reading is not the same as using it when speaking. The placement test shows which parts you have secure and which are still shaky — usually a few gaps to fill rather than a whole level to redo.
Frog-Job is not an examination body, so it does not issue certificates with legal standing. A certificate for an application has to be taken at the Goethe-Institut, telc, ÖSD or an accredited centre. If you need a certificate, follow the general course with exam preparation to get used to the paper.
Group classes take up to 6 learners, with levels A1 to B2 currently open. If the level you need has no class yet, Frog-Job will let you know when one opens, or you can start with one-to-one and move to a group class later.
No. For online lessons you do not need to buy the books — all the material for each lesson is sent to you once the lesson ends. If you would still like a printed copy, Frog-Job can send one within Vietnam.
If you stop during the first week, the whole fee is refunded. After the first week the fee cannot be withdrawn, but you can put the course on hold and come back to it later.
